Our Outreach Program is committed to working with regional and remote communities, giving them access to the arts.
We achieve this through collaboration with rural and remote Queensland communities.
Crossroad Arts heads west!
Building on our existing relationship with the town of Winton, the Crossroad Arts team headed west as part of our commitment to working in rural and remote Queensland.
In October 2018 two of Crossroad Arts' performers, Georgia Knoll and Tash Tomlinson co-facilitated a week long series of performance workshops alongside Artist Support Suzy Dunne and Artistic Director Alison Richardson with students from Winton State High School & St Patrick's School in the rural QLD town of Winton.
The project was funded by Tim Fairfax Family Foundation, Australia Council for the Arts and ArtsQLD.
