Design a mural!

Join us at the Crossroad Arts office as we welcome acclaimed Sydney based artist Jason Wing and emerging Sydney artist Maddison Gibbs, to facilitate a workshop teaching skills in digital street art design. This workshop will culminate in a Youth Week event celebrating the launch of Jason and Maddison’s large scale mural.

Jason Wing (Biripi people) began as a street artist and has since expanded his practice to incorporate photomedia, installation and painting. Influenced by his bi-cultural upbringing, Wing explores the ongoing challenges that impact his wider community. Maddison Gibbs (Barkindji people) is a multidisciplinary artist and activist who examines stories of the past and present in her work.

“My art is inspired by the way my life has thrown up apparent contradictions. It is the place between the contradictory energies that creates a unique space for me to carve out who I am as an artist and a man” says Jason Wing.
